Compliance & Regulatory Disclosure
Defense Forward’s brokerage role is clearly defined. Transportation is performed by independent motor carriers operating under their own authority and insurance.
Defense Forward operates as a freight brokerage intermediary and does not provide motor carrier transportation services.
We do not own, lease, or operate commercial motor vehicles and do not employ drivers for the transportation of freight.
All transportation services arranged by Defense Forward are performed by independent motor carriers operating under their own USDOT and MC authority,
maintaining their own insurance coverage, and assuming full responsibility for their equipment, drivers, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
As a licensed freight broker, Defense Forward’s role is limited to coordinating transportation by matching shipper freight requirements with qualified,
federally authorized motor carriers. This includes carrier sourcing, rate negotiation, dispatch coordination, shipment tracking, and administrative support.
For security and risk mitigation purposes, shipments arranged through Defense Forward are subject to continuous monitoring and proactive coordination
throughout transit to help reduce the risk of theft, delay, or service disruption. Monitoring activities do not constitute control of motor carrier operations.
Defense Forward conducts business in compliance with regulations enforced by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).
